ITEM #4238: PARKER DUOFOLD SR. MANDARIN PENCIL. Mechanism works fine and uses .046" (1.1mm) leads. Crisp imprint reads "PARKER DUOFOLD SR U.S.A." No brassing on gold filled trim. No dings or distortions in gold filled derby. Very clean pencil.

ITEM #4233: PARKER DUOFOLD JR. DESK PEN IN PEARL & BLACK.  Fine DUOFOLD nib. Button filler. Barrel is discolored, but evenly so. It's actually quite nice in appearance, it could be considered a "Tortise Shell" color in today's parlance. This is the early Duofold design with a metal collar inside the barrel behind the section to seat the pressure bar. Quite uncommon. The taper still has the original tip, not broken off and filed-down, as is so often the case.

ITEM #2217: PARKER LUCKY CURVE BLACK HARD RUBBER FLAT TOP SR.  Raised cap band with faint vertical lined pattern in the hard rubber (Suspect this is a DQ - Duofold Quality - model). No imprint. Medium Arrow nib. Tests out at 2.2 cc ink intake. No cracks or brassing.

ITEM #4136: PARKER'S FIRST MODEL PENCIL; ORANGE PAINTED METAL. Introduced in 1921, this is made of metal rather than the later red hard rubber models. These are usually pretty beaten-up, if you can find one; this one has three small chips out of the paint, all on one side. These show up in the second picture. The mechanism is working and the derby is straight.

ITEM #4065: PARKER DUOFOLD 1932 ENVELOPENER.  This is something Parker offered only in 1932. It is a flat, in a "sharpened" profile taper that is fitted onto a Vest Pocket Duofold pencil and was used for opening mail. This item comes with the cap for the Vest Pocket pencil. The pencil and cap are in Jade green and all the tapers were black. The pencil mechanism works fine and uses .046" leads (1.2 mm).

ITEM #3978 set: PARKER FLAT TOP SENIOR DUOFOLD DELUXE SET IN PEARL and BLACK. Color is per photo with a crisp imprint. The pen has the often missing extra clip ring washer and no lip cracks.The button filling mechanism has been tested and shown to take in 1.0 CC of ink. The pencil is absent the usual flaws. The derby is straight & un-dented, the mechanism works, and the imprint is strong & all there. It even has a useable eraser. The only flaw with this set is that the color is slightly off, but it is fairly even and pleasing.

ITEM #3834: PARKER THIRD GENERATION STRIPED BLUE DIAMOND VACUMATIC DUOFOLD. Very unusual in that the cap profile is not curved like others in my collection; its straight, almost cone shaped. Perhaps some sort of prototype (?). Very crisp imprint with a ".4.." date code. This has the plastic Vacumatic filling unit and is a single jewel model. Fine arrow nib. Tests @ 1.4 cc capacity. Single wide band.

This remarkable pen, with cap and barrel manufactured by Bexley in new acrylic materials, uses a new barrel & cap, a new old stock Parker Centennial section, feed, and nib from Parker surplus, and a retro 20'S era Parker Duofold clip. The 2 tone arrow nib on this one is a FINE and the filling unit is a piston convertor. This pen has been tested for ink intake and has demonstrated that it takes in 1.0 cc. Length with cap screwed on is 5 3/8" long and diameter at the cap lip is .589".

ITEM #2102:  A ONE-OF-A-KIND BLUE AND PEARL MARBLE MASTERPIECE MADE AT THE JANESVILLE PLANT BY AN EMPLOYEE THAT WANTED TO SPEND MORE TIME IN THE SHOP. THIS WAS A FEW YEARS BEFORE THEPARKER PLANT CLOSED. MADE WITH FLAT-TOP DUOFOLD SURPLUS PARTS AND CUSTOM MADE ORANGE PLASTIC RINGS IN PLACE OF THE STANDARD METAL BANDS. IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL TWO-TONE MEDIUM 18K ARROW NIB AND A PISTON FILLER. I CAN'T SAY THIS IS MINT, BECAUSE IT'S NOT A STANDARD PARKER PRODUCT, BUT IT'S IN THE SAME CONDITION IT WAS IN THE DAY IT WAS FINISHED, EXCEPT IT'S BEEN FILLED WITH INK ONE TIME. 5.16" LONG, .542" dia. @ CAP BANDS

ITEM #4073: LARGE IMPRINT RED HARD RUBBER PARKER DUOFOLD JR. WITH BROAD NIB.  The nib on this pen measures above BROAD on a Parker Factory nib grader. The tip of the nib measures .042". The imprint is the large early (1922-24) version. The band is wide (.4871"). This pen tests out at a 1.0 cc ink capacity and IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL FULL LUCKY CURVE FEED. These were usually cut off by repair men, as they make it somewhat difficult to install and remove the nib/feed. This piece also has the original NICKEL PLATED n, not a gold filled one. A very uncommon pen. Find another one like it!

ITEM #3878: PARKER DUOFOLD FLAT TOP IN BLACK WITH RARE BAND.  Band is .5" wide with vertical lines and diamond shaped cartouche which has not been engraved with anyone's name. Nib is medium and inscribed with "PARKER DUOFOLD PEN". Crisp imprint. Very clean pen measuring 4.5" long and .483" dia. @ cap band. No brassing on gold filled metal trim. I haven't seen this band before onb any Parker.
