Very unique pen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTombow's \"ROLL PEN\" is scarcely documented, as most Tombow information in English only appears after the late 1980s.  After the late '80s, Tombow began to refer to it as a \"roll\" or \"rollerball\" instead of a \"Roll Pen\". These pens were found with other rare Tombow rollerballs from the same time.  1985 was prior to the time Tombow marketed heavily in North American.  They were likely given to Mr. C of the Write Shop in Los Angeles as samples from an early Tombow salesperson.
