ITEM #3940: STRATOWRITER POINT COVER (FOR #3781, ABOVE). This was an afterthought by Sheaffer. A lot of people were ruining their shirts when the point came in contact with their pockets, so these were sent out to correct that. These are extremely hard to find, especially still wrapped in sealed cellophane.

ITEM #4116: VERY EARLY NEW OLD STOCK SHEAFFER BALLPOINT WITH CLICKER TYPE ACTUATOR. Uses a present day standard Sheaffer ballpoint refill, so it can still be used. Not polished. It has the original patina which could easily be cleaned-off, if that's your bend.

ITEM #3882: PARKER 51 ROLLERBALL.  Midnight Blue with Lustraloy Cap and Chrome trim. This is an original Parker 51 Aerometric with the section, feed, and hood removed and replaced with a newly minted rollerball front end that screws into the same place that the fountain pen hood adapter used to screw into. The cap & clutch work the same as they do in a 51 fountain pen. Uses a standard Schmidt rollerball refill. This one happens to have blue ink in it and a chrome tip.

ITEM #3895: SHORT REYNOLDS BALLPOINT 400 STYLE W/ CAPTIVE "SLIDING BALL-PROTECTOR" COVER & PURPLE ANODIZED END FITTINGS. DESIGNED WITHOUT CLIP. This one is unmarked, but from the similarity in styling to other Reynolds pieces, this is no doubt a Reynolds. Very smart styling and a striking example of early anodizing technology with the purple ends. Utilizes "Captive Sliding-Ball Protector" cover common on Reynolds pens. And of course, the filler has long been dried out and does not work anymore.

ITEM #4128: TODD EARLY MACHINED ALUMINUM BALLPOINT WITH RADIAL SLOT TYPE CLICKER. "Made In USA" on top of clip. Has similar clicker type to those used on early Blythe ballpoints. Has original (dried-out) brass filler similar in size to many still used, so you could replace it and write with this item if you don't prefer the original configuration that exists. This is an advertising piece, with the inscription "Standard Iron Supply Co. PR. 9877" on one line, and "Buyers of Scrap Metals and Foundry Residue" below that.

ITEM #3893: REYNOLDS INTERNATIONAL FULL SIZE BALLPOINT WITH REMOVEABLE CAP. From the maker of the first ballpoint on the market, this funky, deco style pen had everything except functionality. They used to say about it: "It will make 8 carbon copies but no original". And it still doesn't work, but it is a piece of period art, all here (try finding another one with the removeable cap still with it) and in excellent condition. I purposely did not polish this to maintain oits originality. With it being aluminum, I could have made it look better than when it was new but chose not to.

ITEM #3746: VINTAGE NEW OLD STOCK EVERSHARP SKYLINE EARLY BALLPOINT - WRITES!! This was an initial entry into the ballpoint competition, using the parts from the existing skyline line outfitted with a replacement for the section made to hold the business end of a ballpoint. except for the modern day filler, this is an original eversharp ballpoint, initially sold by Eversharp as a ballpoint. the original (dried-out) filler comes with it. I've sold these for $70 at pen shows.

ITEM #3941: CAP FOR HOPALONG CASSITY PARKER BALLPOINT.  This was Parker's first ballpoint, ca. 1951. It needs a barrel and is in excellent condition. The band shown in the photo may or may not go with it, but was found with the cap and it will go along with it. It fits inside the open cap end very closely. Note the crisp metalwork on this piece, with a horse shoe, steer, and rope theme. The plating and plastic are incredibly intact.

ITEM #3912: PARKER DEBUTANT / PRINCESS JOTTER 1957-58. Cream with convex clicker button. This model was introduced as the DEBUTANT in 1957 and changed to the "PRINCESS" in late 1958. It's not dated so I can't say which year it was. It has a brass thread insert in the cap and a convex clicker button.
