A SPECIALIZED TOOL TO FIRMLY HOLD A NIB WITHOUT DAMAGING IT TO RESHAPE, ADJUST, ALIGN OR BUFF. A neat aid when working on nibs that are outside of the pen
Tool opens up to expose tweezers tailored to fit a nib. One side of the tweezer has a convex surface, the other side is a matching concave surface to aid in holding the nib firmly.
The tool houses tweezers inside a brass casing. To open push finger grip forward to expose tweezers. Then pull back the finger grip to secure nib in desired position.
Tool is modeled after specimens found in the Parker shop Tool Crib (see last photo). Note: nibs shown are not included w/ tool. When mounting the nib, make sure the convex and concave surfaces of the nib are aligned with the respectively curved jaws of the tool.
