PARKER PRE-PRODUCTION PENCIL in Burgundy

NEVER MARKETED. Features a red plastic body with a stamped-out VECTOR style clip, a wedding cake striated eraser cover which actuates the repeater pencil mechanism, and a black plastic tip captivating the pencil filler, which does not come out, although there is not a clip or clamping ring visible on the unique black plastic tip. The clicker has a grid of black dots on a silver background that I've never seen on a Parker clicker top before. The filler mechanism has a white plastic tube body which the barrel will come off of, but the tip will not come out of the front of the pencil. Uses .036" (.91mm) leads. This piece is completely un-marked except for white tape hand printed labels presumably used for tracking this design through some sort of test regimen or evaluation.
