Gold filled. Made in Germany. The writing color is gravity selected - you hold the pen horizontally, with the color small dot matching the ballpoint filler ink color you want facing up while you push the cap (this one is cap actuated). The ink colors selectable are red, black, blue, and green. Refills are still available. Besides "SHREVE GERMANY" the clip als has what looks like a hallmark, an oval with the letters "EB" inside. No dents or dings in barrel or cap.
