ITEM #PT47110: 1/8 Horsepower 3" dual Buffer / Polisher. Variable speed 110 VAC operation with clear plastic shield. 14" X 6 1/4" X 6" H. The solid state dial speed control has a range of 1,800 to 14,000 RPM. Includes (2) tapered spindles, one on each side of the motor for use with 3" buffing wheels. Requires wheels with leather or shellaced center holes. This unit can also use a flex shaft buffer & handpiece (see item #PT47111 below) on the right side in lieu of the right wheel.

ITEM #PT43158: 1/8" shaft buffing wheel mandrel with 1/16" screw. useable with wheels up to 2" dia., the screw is long enough to get two of our 2" PT17703 wheels doubled-up on it. You'll need a dremel type rotary tool or a driven flex shaft/handpiece to use this effectively. It will also fit into a hand drill or drill press, but that's somewhat awkward.  1 3/4" long.

ITEM #PT17703:  2" dia., 16 ply, w/ 4 rows of stitching, this Super Buff is 100% cotton. patented process removes impurities and makes the cloth finer and nearly lint free.With ordinary abrasive elements removed, super buffs last up to 50% longer with better compound retention. Use mandrel PT43158 with these and you can stack two of them on the mandrel. These are the best wheels to use on a flex shaft handpiece.

ITEM #WHLCLN:  SMALL BUFFING WHEEL CLEANER. Originally intended for cleaning file grooves, these work great for removing the glaze that accumulates on the surface of small (<2" dia. and <32 ply) buffing wheels. This undesireable coating packs the surface together which can cause heat which can damage the surface of plastic or hard rubber. Keep your wheels clean & cool with these tools. Just act like you're polishing the wire pad with your wheel, turning into the direction the tines are coming from. They also work great for cleaning files. Use your safety glasses when using these. Two sizes, 9" & 6".

ITEM #PT17200:  2" dia. x 25 ply Dixcel soft cotton flannel buff for final polishing. Stitched on the sides (2 rows) with shellac center. The stitching makes the wheel a little tougher, stiffer, and more aggressive than un-stitched. The shellac center accepts a tapered spindle. These won't fit on a dremel mandrel or flex shaft - they're too big for that. use a 1/4" tapered spindle.
