SHEAFFER BALANCE DEMONSTRATOR IN BLACK

Other than the two holes machined in the side of the cap, this pen is new old stock with a No. 5 Feather Touch two tone FINE 14K nib. The barrel imprint is crisp and clear.

What is demonstrated by this pen is the sealing off of the nib inside the cap. There are two holes in the side of the cap. The bottom hole shows the section seated against the inner cap opening. The top hole shows the gold nib safety sealed inside the inner cap. Of course one cannot write with this pen because the nib is open to the atmosphere and it would dry out. This demonstrator could be filled but that is not recommended.
