Soft Pliers (Tool HT-M)

Small, narrow, curved pliers with two layers of soft, sticky plastic padding which are both replaceable. Originally designed for Fred Gorstein who specializes in working on Pelikan 100s. He wanted soft pliers that had narrow enough jaws to remove the piston assembly without scratching anything on either side of the part he needed to unscrew. These pliers are useful for a multitude of other purposes, as well. Keep in mind the jaws are lined with very soft material, which is subject to damage if used on items with sharp metallic edges. They are intended for use on smooth contours with no sharp surfaces. Also, don't think of these as Channel Locks or Vice Grips; instead, think of them as delicate instruments or forceps.
