ITEM #51 THD INST: THREAD INSERTS FOR PARKER 51 CAPS ON GOLD FILLED, PLATED AND SOLID 14K STANDARD SIZE PENS. Will not fit Flighters or Demies. The originals were soldered in, but that's not to say that the modern materials state of the art couldn't provide an easier insallation method if the solder was adequately cleaned off of the inside surface and the inside surface was smooth..

ITEM #BUSHING A: PARKER CLIP BUSHINGS,

 These have the more commonly used smaller diameter inner threaded hole. The outer thread fits most standard sized Parker fountain pens and also pencils and ballpoints.

ITEM #BUSHING B: PARKER CLIP BUSHINGS.

These have the larger, less commonly used 4-40 threaded inner hole.

Bothof these bushings use a 10-32 outer thread.

Here are some notes from Ron Zorn on jewel & bushing threads: "The larger 4-40 holes for the stems were used on the second generation Vacumatics and on the Vacumatic filled  Parker 51.  They changed to the smaller stem and thread size in the bushing with the aerometric 51.  The threads on the outside are indeed 10-32, but if you have an aerometric, you'll need the smaller A bushing."

You CAN use different threads than what were originally used by changing the bushing thread size; this is needed if you are using our grey/silver jewels for Parker 51 caps, you may need to do this if you need to put one of our repro 51 jewels/clip screws on a 51 cap that has a 4-40 hole, you may need to change out the 4-40 bushing with a 3-56 bushing.

ITEM #51CLIPSCREW: VERY GOOD REPRODUCTIONS OF PARKER 51 JEWELS (REFERRED TO MORE PROPERLY AS "CLIP SCREWS" IN PARKER SERVICE MANUALS).  These photos were shot from 3 different angles so you could detect the irridescence in the grey/silver/swirled plastic. For comparison purposes, about half the jewels in each photo are reproductions and about half are originaal Parkers. These have the smaller of the two thread sizes that 51 clip screws came with, although most 51s used this size. The larger size was used for a very short while early-on. If you need to replace one with the larger thread size because your bushing has the larger threaded hole, we also sell the bushing with the smaller hole so you can replace both bushing and clip screw (Last item, Above). The outer threads of these replacement bushings are the same size as those used for both sizes of inner bushing hole.

ITEM #: 51 AEROMETRIC FILL TUBE DRILL.  This is used to remove the broken-off metal fill tubes from Parker 51 Aerometrics. File the broken off fill tube stub flat, put the bit in a rotary tool and SLOOOOWLY clean-out the old broken off part of the fill tube that gets stuck in the feed. Hold it back and don't let it pull itself in; instead control the bit's feed into the old fill tube stub and GENTLY remove the broken off stub. Clean out the hole and install a new fill tube (also available here - both sizes, Std. & Demi).

ITEM #51 SHELL, COCOA: NEW OLD STOCK COCOA SHELLS / HOODS FOR PARKER 51s. Fine thread for standard size 51s. Won't fit the Demi. These are 48 threads per inch.  These are available with and without cut outs for O-Rings, so please let me know which type you want. I may have a few other colors, but please don't email me looking for Buckskin, Mustard, Plum, or Empire Green; If I had any of those, they would be listed as seperate items with lit-up, blinking, neon borders around the listings. If you know of a source for any of those colors, please let me know.

ITEM #SCREW-AERO: FRONT END ADAPTERS FOR PARKER THREADED AEROMETRIC STANDARD SIZED SAC PROTECTORS.   These screw into Aerometric sac protectors with internal front end threads. These are newly made for Parker standard sized Aerometrics with identical form, fit, and function as the originals. They won't fit Demies, which are about .020" smaller in barrel inside diameter. These threaded adaptrs are used on the metal sac protectors with the "...PRESS 6X..." verbage. The metal part shown in the photo is not included with the item.

ITEM #AERO TUBE, STD and DEMI SIZED:  STAINLESS STEEL REPLACEMENTS FOR STANDARD SIZED AEROMETRIC 51 FILL TUBES. Includes the side hole near the section. Use these to replace the corroded, bent, and broken originals. Just for clarification, they aren't really bowed like it appears in the photo; that's some sort of lens effect.

ITEM #51 FEEDS:  PARKER USED A ZILLION DIFFERENT LENGTHS OF FILL TUBES. Most of the feeds are the same except for some very rare early versions that had no channel running the length of the top. The front, flat, pointed part of these early ones are much thinner (depth of the flat part), .06" in the early ones as opposed to .1" on the later ones. I don't have any of the early ones for sale. New tubes for the Aerometric feeds are sold separately (above). Specify whether you want the type of feed with an ink channel or not.

ITEM #51 BP TIP: REMOVABLE (THREADED) BARREL TIP FOR PARKER 51 BALLPOINT.  The early 51 ballpoints used these. The later ones are not removable. Make sure yours comes out before ordering. Available in chrome only. No gold filled. This is an original Parker factory part.

ITEM #PUSHAERO: PARKER AEROMETRIC ADAPTER FOR PUSH-ON (NON-THREADED) SAC PROTECTORS.  These are used and fit Parker Standard sized Aerometrics They won't fit Demies, which are about .020" smaller in barrel inside diameter. These adapters slide into the NON-THREADED (both open and closed) sac protectors. These smooth ones go with sac protectors with the "....PRESS FOUR TIMES..." verbage. The metal parts shown in the photo is not included with the item but ARE available.
