Repair Tools for Pelikan

ITEM #PTS8: PELIKAN PLIERS. THESE PLIERS WORK ON PELIKAN 100, 100N, IBIS & RAPPEN FOUNTAIN PENS. IT IS DESIGNED TO REMOVE THE SCREW IN NIB/FEED ASSEMBLEY. THE TOOL HAS 3 SLOTS TO ACCEPT THE RIBS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FEED. Make certain the slots are alligned with the feed before squeezing the pliers to avoid breaking feeds. Also, it's a good idea to run the section, nib and feed end of the pen through a few minutes in an ultrasonic cleaner to loosten up any crusty ink and free things up.

IT ALSO CAN BE USED TO REMOVE THE PISTON FROM THE BACK END OF PELIKAN 100s. IT'S THE IDEAL WIDTH TO FIT ON THE CENTER OF THE BACK END. (THERE ARE 3 PARTS OF THE BACK END- THIS TOOL FITS THE MIDDLE HARD RUBBER BAND SO IT CAN BE TURNED OUT WITHOUT THE OTHER BARREL PARTS BEING TURNED).

ITEM #PTS9: PELIKAN PLIERS WITH FOUR SLOTS FOR NIB/FEED REMOVAL OF PELIKAN 400, 400N & 100N. THESE PLIERS ARE DESIGNED TO REMOVE THE SCREW-IN NIB/FEED ASSEBLEY. THERE ARE 4 SLOTS TO ACCEPT THE RIBS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FEED.  Make certain the slots are alligned with the feed before squeezing the pliers to avoid breaking feeds. ITEM #D149P: PISTON REMOVAL TOOL FOR PELIKAN M800, M900 and M1000 AND MONTBLANC 146 and 149.  Think of this tool as the Swiss Army Knife for your German big fatty pens. It fits the back ends of the above Montblancs AND Pelikans so you can work on, remove or replace the pistons, filling units or do work inside the barrels.

To use the MB 146/149 end,unscrew the blind cap enough to fit the prongs on the brass ring, screw the blind cap down a little (but not tightly, just snugly), and turn the right hnded threaded piece out.

To use the Pelikan end, unscrew the blind capenough to fit the thickness of the tool in and unscrew the LEFT HANDED THREAD out.

ITEM #HT-M: SOFT PLIERS.  Small pliers with two layers of soft, sticky plastic padding which are both replaceable. Originally designed for Fred Gorstein who specializes in working on Pelikan 100s. He wanted soft pliers that had narrow enough jaws to remove the piston assembly without scratching anything. These pliers are useful for a multitude of other purposes, as well. Keep in mind the jaws are lined with very soft material, which is subject to damage if used on items with sharp metallic edges. They are intended for use on smooth contours with no sharp surfaces. For this reason we carry both types of replacement jaw liners (see following listings). The last two photos show these pliers being used to work on Pelikan 100s.
